I just wanted to plug the new drawing blog I am a part of.

Timberline:  The Draw Blog One Mile Above Sea Level

Timberline features all local to Colorado illustrators drawing their versions of a new topic every week.  So far we have had:

Killer Clowns
Six Armed Alien Chef
John Carter
The Shadow

Every Sunday a member picks a new theme and we have a week to submit a drawing.  Anything goes from rough sketch to fully completed pieces.
